A lady from England was interested in her father’s village in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, Molodkiv. She hasn’t even expected to see anybody of her family as she had never heard of them. We helped her to find her relatives in the village and took her and her friend from Lviv to Molodkiv and back. It was a very happy day for everyone.
For all Ukrainians around the world in the days of Soviet occupation of Ukraine, Ivano-Frankivsk was non go area, people couldn’t even write to each other. Now Ukraine is a free country, visitors can freely see the country. Europe, North America and Japan citizens need no visa. Welcome to the Carpathian mountains and Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine!
Molodkiv is a small village between Nadvirna and Solotvyn. There is a mineral water spring and an old oak, secondary school, church, village council and post office in the centre of the village. Beautifull countryside at the foothills of the Carpathian mountains.
